FAQs
General
What should I bring to the shoot?
Yourself with a big smile! Bring your outfits you wish to wear. You may bring something that maybe shows who you are. For example; a hat, a scarf, roller-skates, or anything you wish to use in a photo that represents you. Shoes are not needed unless this is something you wish to bring for particular photos.
Will my photos be re-touched?
Only if it is needed. Retouching mainly involves fixing the lighting, stray hairs, background, coverage etc, and anything that you may want touched up.
How long will it be before I get to see my photos?
I try to send a sneak peak of one or two photos that same day or the following day. However it will take up to two weeks to go through all the photos that are taken from the shoot.
Do I get to see all of my photos?
I go through and pick at between 30 - 40 of the best photos and edit them and these are what I will reveal to you at the reveal session.
Will I own all my images?
As above, I ask that you sign a model release form. This allows me to stay safe and own the copyright to the images.
From time to time I will update my portfolio and may wish to use one or two of your photos. However, in saying this, I always discuss with my clients which ones they feel ok with sharing, and which ones they are not comfortable with sharing.
Will my images be shown Online?
On arrival for your photo shoot, I get you to sit down and read a Model Release form and ask you to sign it. This gives me the copyrights to the photos. However I never do anything with the photos unless you have given me your permission. At the reveal session we go through the photos and discuss which photos you prefer not to be shown on social media or the Internet. Showing or sharing my work that I do helps to raise awareness of my business.
How long does the photoshoot take?
The shoot will take as long as it needs to to be able to get the photos needed or desired. Typically, the shoot’s last for between 1.5 – 2 hours. The shoot is slow and not rushed, we take breaks to rehydrate and have lots of laughs as well.
How many outfits can I bring?
It depends on which package you have chosen, please feel free to get in touch with me to discuss further.
